Change in the Story

I really enjoyed watching the Wonder Woman pilot episode. I was a little disappointed with the change in the story. The lack in information provided to the Princess about how Paradise Island came to be. The Queen shared very vague information as if that was enough information for her to know so she would not participate in the competition. The Princess' response to her mother telling her she could not participate in the competition; simply lying to the Queen in her face; demonstrating a change in the Princess' personality. No longer being submissive to her mother, The Queen but simply being her daughter. There was also a shift in the Queen's personality and reaction to discovering the Princess won the competition. She's portrayed more vulnerable and emotional to the situation while in the comic book she's demonstrated as a strong woman. When talking about men she seems to be day dreaming. The one change I did enjoy seeing was Wonder Woman is seen more independent towards Steven Trevor. She is not blinded by love. Unlike, in the comic book she is very submissive to him.
