Superman is a bit of a know-it-all

I must confess; I've never really liked superheroes. And when it comes to superheroes, the first one I think of is Superman. So I'd like to take a look at who exactly Superman is, and why... I'm not that fond of him.

During class we talked about violence, and his role in the law. The words "law abiding" were floating around when we were talking, but I'd like to disagree and say that Superman is not so much law abiding as much as he has his own laws and makes other people abide by them.
I don't think this counts as a confession in the court of law.

And I think that's one of the reasons I can never connect with superheroes: they always have so much "confidence" in themselves and their beliefs that they never question themselves. But then I think to myself, who said that they were right? That they are the ones who know what is right and wrong? If you always know that you are right, and never question yourself, I don't think you will realize when you do something wrong. And frankly, no one is perfect.
"You're breaking the law, sir." :Yes you are, Superman. Yes you are.
Perhaps its Superman's infallibility that annoys me.
Why does the classic superhero have to be such a know-it-all?
You always have to be right! I don't understand.

Superman is such a flat character, and an annoying one at that. Superman finds superiority in being better than everyone else. And with that, I'm done with my little rant. As stories go, Superman definitely helped to start a whole new genre, and inspire people. But it's very easy to get caught up in the story and not think about how wrong Superman is (in my opinion) with his way of doing things.
